One of my DRLs on my '08 is burnt out. Is it possible to get a replacement bulb and DIY or must you take it to the dealer?

Thanks!

I was going to answer-- but the enclaves are actual HID I think.
And the DRL's are on the bulbs towards the bottom....

(for the other lambda- the traverse with DRL's on the headlight)- to change the bulbs- you can access the rear of the lamp assembly by removing a few push clips on the wheel weel-- turning the wheel inward- and you can reach into the area where the bulbs are.

Thanks. Was very easy except for getting my arm in the tight space but had no problem, Thanks again.
It is quite a tight fit. It helps to wedge a piece of short wood or a crescent wrench inbetween the fender and the wheel skirt so you have it always open for access. Glad the posts helped.

Just noticed that now my drivers side is out as well. What is going on here! I would go to the dealer as I have a bad shoulder and artificial hip but it is in New Jersey and do not feel like paying 13 dollars for the bridge toll. Guess I'm doing it myself again.

Just yesterday I noticed my headlight was burned out.
I had my spares ready- as I bought them months ago.

It took me 27 min to change out both bulbs....
Normally takes me about 20.

What happened?
Well my 4 yr old and my 3 yr old (turned 3 yesterday)- were 'helping me'.
The birthday boy decided to grab one of the bulbs..... by the glass.
I had to get some Alcohol and remove his little fingerprints from the glass.

The VW Passat has you beat. 30 seconds each side and no tools needed. All from popping the hood.
