Second Row Seat Trim Snaps Broken

The rear bucket side trim piece on my 2011 Enclave has pulled loose. Small snaps on front of seat have broken and cannot be reconnected. Only adults ride in this vehicle, so child play is not a cause for failure. I am rather disappointed with this design in a relatively expensive SUV. I expected a little more in the Buick line of automobiles. Has anyone else experienced problems with the side trim on their seats. David.

the only thing I can think of-- is that passengers are literally sliding off the seats---- and their pants/belts or something- caught on the trim--- yanking it.

Re: Second Row Seat Trim Snaps Broken

That is the reason I stated that the design is very poor...When a person steps out of a vehicle, especially the SUV, which sits a little higher off the ground, you would have to step down. If the trim is poorly designed and placed around the side of the seat you are going to slide off the seat as you get out. In addition, these seats are only used occasionally when out with friends making it very embarrassing to have the side of your seat snap off.
