I've not taken it off on the Enclave but did on the CTS. You just removed the oil cap and then the cover just pulled off - there were 4 tapered, arrow-shaped studs that fit into rubber grommets.

Edit: I just checked and it's the same type of arrangement on the cover for the E. I only pulled the right-rear one loose so I don't know exactly how many studs there are. They are pretty tight so you have to pull fairly hard to pop them loose.

Re: Where is the power steering reservior?

this is on my 2010 Traverse- should be similar.
Remove oil cap. then from the sides of the plastic cover- pull up- it will come off.
Theres 3 studs that the cover pops on/off to. You can see the studs in the pic below.
Also theres the location of the PS reservoir.
In the pics I was removing some of the old PS fluid.

Re: Where is the power steering reservior?

@tce23233, on page 5-32 of the 2008 Buick Enclave owner's manual is the following information:
How to Check Power Steering Fluid
To check the power steering fluid, do the following:
1. Turn the key off and let the engine compartment cool down.
2. Remove engine oil fill cap
3. Slide engine cover rearward and lift to remove
4. Wipe the cap and the top of the reservoir clean.
5. Unscrew the cap and wipe the dipstick with a clean rag.
6. Replace the cap and completely tighten it.
7. Remove the cap again and look at the fluid level on the dipstick.
The fluid level should be somewhere between MAX and MIN line on the dipstick in room temperature. If the fluid is on or below MIN line, you should add fluid close to
MAX Line.

If you need other information than what I have posted please, don't hesitate to contact me.

Re: Where is the power steering reservior?

Thanks for the replies. Photos are really worth a thousand words. I had a problem with my dome light not turning on when the door opened and I was sure I had set the switch correctly after searching and reading a few similar posts. But the "light bulb" went off went some posted a photo of the dash with the correct button circled in red.

Re: Where is the power steering reservior?

thanks!//

for the radiator- there should be a bunch of those push pins.. on my Traverse therye a little deep- so you may need the tool to lifth them up---
or a screwdriver-- but you risk damaging the push pins.

in the 2nd pic above- note the holes around the CHEVROLET name. thats where the push pins are.
Yours should be similar.

Re: Where is the power steering reservior?

heres a better picture....
theres a bunch of them.
Auto parts may sell the tool to remove them.
For those that are easily accesible- a thing screwdriver can be used to pop them up.
but deeper ones... you can pop them up- but youll damage them.

Re: Where is the power steering reservior?

Thanks. I have a tool shaped like a V that is used to removed door panels on older cars that I have had. Will it do?
