Looks good, kslaughter33! Your overhead looks exactly like mine. I would think the 3rd row might be the same, and the kit I got would fit yours? Would have to check into it. IF you put the 3rd row pieces on, make sure you get them far enough in towards the outside of the car, otherwise...that thin piece will curl a little. One of mine is far enough, the other is just a little too close to the inside and that thin piece is not totally flat....OOPS, my bad for not taking more time.

Just my humble opinion - I think it is too much. Looks tacky to me. Maybe I could get used to it...

I like the way that the extra faux wood trim matches the factory trim so closely. However, I prefer Buick's selection of trim locations. I am inclined to agree with rockyp in this regard.

LOL...yes, pretty much. First you have to prepare the surface with the alcohol pads they provide. Then, peel off the backing and stick on. Just a word to the wise, if you do this make sure to take more time than I did. A couple of my pieces are not 100% straight. Although most wouldn't notice it at first glance, I see it. Mainly the ceiling piece around the middle row lights....I got crooked....but just slightly. Just take your time and they should be good, but just know that it's still obvious they are overlays....and accept that. You can still see the gray plastic around the edges (talking about the ceiling pieces). The backing is very sticky so you pretty much want to go with it once you get it started to stick, wouldn't want to peel off....at least I wouldn't think that would be a good idea. Test fit the pieces, have a plan on where to start with each piece, and do the best you can. I have not been thru this season's temperature changes, so I can't say how they will hold up going thru cold and hot, but so far they are still sticking well. I'll keep you posted if any pieces fail to stay in place.

Thought I would update my results on the extra wood trim. So far, all pieces are still sticking just fine. This is with the colder temps. I will re-update when the warmer weather comes. I assume they will stay stuck, don't see any evidence of them coming unstuck. I visited the website I linked on the original post of this thread. Doesn't look like they have 2013 wood trim available yet. I'm sure they will in time. I still would recommend that any 2008-2012 owner get the 3rd row armrest trim, it really finishes off that area.

The third row modification sounds enticing. However, if there is a need or desire to remove the faux room trim mods, can it be easily done?

For some of the curved areas like the DVD screen and some of the door handles, you can use a blow dryer to heat up the peices they're more flexible. Great mini-mod.

The third row modification sounds enticing. However, if there is a need or desire to remove the faux room trim mods, can it be easily done? I would certainly think it would be very easy, as long as the extra adhesive was not used. The material has some depth to it, not just a flat sticker, so there's something to grab onto, and nothing that would tear like a paper sticker. The left over adhesive, that's on the pieces already, should just wipe clean. kidsenclave did you have any left over pieces?
Just the one light button piece I didn't use. The other one, I cut in two to make the ones for the very rear circles...for where the cargo cover would clip on to. Since the kit came with two for the clips in the third row, I just cut one of the light button pieces (that wouldn't fit where they were intended) to make it look even. I'll have to photo what I'm talking about. IF I still have that other piece left over, I wouldn't know where to look for it. If you were interested in actually seeing the material and color, IF I can find it....were you wanting it mailed to you to check out? Not sure if that's why you were asking. As for the color, I'll assure you the wood is an exact color match to the factory wood trim. When on the ceiling, it looks darker....and on the cards it looks different, but when I first got the kit I took out a piece and compared it to the car, and it was exact. Very impressed.

Did you want it just to see the color match, and see the material that's used? Just curious? I'll try and locate it, hopefully it's still out in my tool box, I seem to remember. I'll get back with you in a little while, and if I have it I'll PM you about it.

Well, I looked where I thought the piece was and can't find it at the moment. Hopefully it didn't get thrown out, I'll keep an eye out for it. Sorry about that. However, in the meantime....if you think it would help, I could take some more detailed photos where you could see the third row armrest along with the rear door factory trim together. I know it's nice to actually compare a piece to your trim, but I would assume all 08-12 Enclaves are identical color for the wood trim, but we all know just that we assume things, doesn't mean it's true. All I can tell you is, when I got the kit, first thing I did was take a piece out and compare it, and it was spot on, exact color match, and the wood grain pattern is also very close. The only thing that looks off, even when it's not, is the ceiling pieces. Since there's less light up there, and they are next to the light ceiling headliner, it's deceiving, and they appear darker wood....but they are the same, as you can see from the photo I took of them on the cardboard.
