My wife had to meet some folks at work and they had to meet with clients and since she had the biggest car, they took hers. She said this guy was telling her how nice the ride is in the Enclave....and so the conversation went to what does your husband drive etc. She said this colleague drives a 550i BMW. GM has to somehow harness this reception to their product, and not say it's good enough, but take it over the top and even build it into the brand. We complain when our cars break or when we notice some features lacking or execution that is cheaply done. But people who don't spend time in the Enclave seem to initially receive it very warmly. And you always seem to hear something about the "ride."

My BMW driving cousin commented on how expensive my Enclave must be when he first saw it. He assumed about $50,000. Not a bad guess for a loaded version, but my CX came in about $15,000 less than that (MSRP). I didn't correct him.

same thing happens to me at work. I ve received nothing but compliments about the enclave , on how nice the exterior and interior is . I usually go out for lunch with co workers and they are always impress at how nice and quiet the enclave rides. The 50 000 value is also what i get , and most people thing my enclave is brand new. Even the owner of the company send me a text message asking me about the enclave because he wanted to get one.
Before i purchased the enclave i looked at the X5 , audi Q7 , infiniti fx 35 and a few other SUVs ( cheaper) and to be 100% honest the enclave is the best looking SUV out there , aside from that it was the cheapest ( in the luxury category) , and it was a 7 seater ( which the X5 doesnt have) and it uses regular gas ( big plus with gas prices today).

While what I am about to post is not actually a direct compliment about an Enclave, it certainly is a very genuine indirect compliment. After getting in my Subaru Tribeca at a supermarket parking lot, I noticed a man looking over a parked 2013 Enclave. After giving it a full walk around, it appeared that he was headed toward the driver's side door to enter the car. Just like some of us paranoid new Enclave owners, I assumed that he was inspecting his new Enclave for any parking lot dings and scratches. Then, to my surprise, he walked away from the car and opened the door of a new looking Jaguar that was parked a couple of rows away. He gave the 2013 Enclave another stare for a few seconds before finally taking a seat in his Jaguar. I guess that he really liked the Enclave. Now, that's a true compliment.

I just checked and my 2010 which I bought used in 2011 is worth almost what I paid for it after two years and 20,000 more miles. I guess I got a good deal, or the Enclaves hold their value really well. I guess both.

I can say I have noticed used Buick Enclaves take a dip in value over a year

Social butterfly that I am, I struck up a conversation with two women in Lowe's parking lot, while George loaded the pavers. They asked about my "pretty" car, so I said "Wait 'til you see the interior". Well, if I were a salesperson on a lot, I could have sold them each one (they were in an Avalon). Long story short, the driver was going to get her husband over to a Buick dealer just to look. Good stuff....love showing it off.

I noticed a woman eyeing my 5 1/2 year old Enclave in a parking lot a couple of days ago. She had just exited a Honda minivan, so I think that she was enjoying my Enclave's "stylin' ".
