I recently purchased a Buick Enclave and a Buick Veranto.
I am having issues with Bluetooth using Samsung phone.

Verano  GM  1G4PR5SK8D4170102
Enclave   GM 5GAKRCKD2DJ167025

my phones are :
Galaxy SIII  SGH-1747  Android 4.1.1    BUILD  JR003L.1747UCDLK3
Galaxy Note  SGH1717  Android 2.3.6  BUILD GINGERBREAD.UCLA1

I have no problems with the Galaxy SIII on either car
When I pair the phone it connects and downloads all phone numbers in phone book.

On the Galaxy Note
either car
When I pair the phone it connects but does not download the phonebook.

From Buicks compatibility webpage
A Galaxy Note (SGH-i717) with AT&T 2013 Buick Enclave supports the following Bluetooth® features:  Phone Pairing ,Phonebook Download.  Automatically download and display contact information from your phone to the vehicle’s display. etc.

Your options are basically to go get new loads on your phone or get new radio software for the car.  I would take it to the dealer and have them look at it.

Are you contacts on your SIM card ore SD Card on the Galaxy Note?  If so, import them onto the phone's memory.  I've heard this has resolved problems for some people.

Another thing, though it probably shouldn't matter, is you probably should update to the latest supported OS.  AT&T updated to ICS on the SGHi717 last year (and that's an i not a 1  thumbs up)

I've heard of people in BMW's needing to pair, then turn off their cars, then turn it back on to allow it to natural pair, in which case it asks if you want it to give BT access to the phone.

First I did schedule an appt with Buick dealer's Service Dept so they could check the vehicle,  the results weren't as I expected. The Service Drive Manager sent be back to sales dept.  The sales personnel were the ones that said I needed to take it to service.   Enuff said.

I talked to a very nice person at GM that looked to see if there were reports of any of this issues. Found nothing. She has called me every day since.

I also called AT&T  my phones carrier , after an extensive time consuming look, they identified a problem with the os, I bought phone right after it came on the market.

Result
was Galaxy Note  SGH1717  Android 2.3.6  BUILD GINGERBREAD.UCLA1
is     Galaxy Note SGH-1717  Android 4.0.4  Build IMM76D.UCLF6

and it works.

Thanks all they posted
