Anyone see the new Buick Ad on tv?  It mentions 4 new buicks but the Enclave is not one of them.   Strange….

If I'm not mistaken, the ad strictly highlights in-production models, and says nothing about either the Gen 2 (or Gen 1, for that matter) Enclave or the new Regal.  Seems pretty clear to me the campaign's intent clearly is solely to bring attention to their newest models currently in showrooms.

Speaking of units in the showrooms, I'm going to be interested to see if Buick can maintain interest in Encore;  the (IMO) nicely-refreshed new model is +19% in the first 4 months of 2017 (28,444 vs. 23,808).  It represents better than 50% of Buick's total volume (54,670) YTD.  Removing Envision sales,  Buick is dead flat YTD (41,463 vs. 41,265).

LaCrosse, from what I can tell, has largely been a Sales disaster.  Beyond the fact Buick has really pushed the pricing envelope in a serious way with the new model....way too much, IMO..... this is just a crappy sales environment for large sedans, and it isn't getting better anytime soon.  YTD (thru April), LaCrosse is down a full 25% from 2016 (6,968 vs. 10,788).  For point of comparison, Impala is -35% YTD......Avalon -30%.....Taurus -10%.....Charger -13%.....Chrysler 300 -15%.....Azera -35%.....and Cadenza -22%.  About the only even-close-to good news in full-size sedans is Maxima (+2%)

As for Envision (13,207), thus far it's tracking Enclave (13,019, down 25%) essentially unit for unit.

'09 CXL FWD (invoiced 9/4/08, delivered 12/18/08) replaced by a 2012 Subaru Outback 2.5 Limited on 3/16/12.  Added a Nissan Altima 2.5 SV on 3/2/16, a 2009 Buick Lucerne CXL on 4/21/15, and a 2002 Honda Accord SE on 5/22/14.
