It's hard to believe that the 2010 Enclave will be out in just a few months. It seems like just a short time ago when there was a lot of forum buzz about the upcoming 2009, and how late into the year the 2008 model would still be produced. Time truly flies!  Shocked

It's funny that we are talking about 2010 vehicles, and there are some out there...but just last night I saw a commercial for a NEW 2008 Kia Sorento.  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked  What the HECK?Huh?Huh???  That's insane, they still HAVE 2008's on the Kia car lots?  Sucks to be them......that tells me that THOSE are not selling, and have to be heavily discounted.

Here is the website for ordering codes and specifications for 2010 Buicks:  http://eogld.ecomm.gm.com/NASApp/domestic/brandsel.jsp?regionID=1&year=2010

Only the 2010 Lacrosse is listed as of today.  However, reviewing the options of the 2010 Lacrosse may help you speculate about the 2010 Enclave.  I don't think you will see much change from 2009.

I was not expecting a 3rd model for the Lacrosse, but they will have the CX, CXL, and CXS.  Only the CXS has the 3.6L V6 and the CXS includes ALL options ($$$).  The other two models have a 3.0L V6.

So no one thinks there will be any big changes?

No rumors or inside knowledge?

It seems that some of the exciting anticipated features for the upcoming 2010 Lacrosse will not be coming, after all. For example, according to the GM Global Connect Distribution Updates for the Lacrosse for the week of 3/03/2009, the HUD, Xenon headlamps, and Side Blind Zone Alert options have been deleted. I think that it would be difficult for the Lacrosse to truly compete with the best in the midsize upscale and luxury segments with some common and popular features excluded from the model.  Roll Eyes

They're not gone entirely; we just had a satellite update on Thursday and the Driver Confidence Package will be late-summer availability, probably by August. BTW-the Side Blind Zone alert is definitely not "common". There are only a handful of cars with this technology right now.

Are we saying that those features mentioned on the Lacrosse will show up on the 2010 Enclave?

The Bind Zone would be a good safety feature.

How about active Heads rests did no see that in the Lacrosse?

It really needs the push start to get the key chain off the column.

How about 8 way power for my poor passenger?

Up early rambling on....

OK I do not understand how all these items are deleted from the LaCrosse? Does that mean no hope for any of these on the Enclave. Someone must know what is going to happen?

Effective 3/30/2009, the following changes will be made to the Vehicle Order Guide:

Interior section-Deleted (PCI) Driver Confidence Package entirely.
Interior section-(PDB) Entertainment Package, updated extended description to read "includes (UQA) harman/kardon 384-watt 11-speaker 5.1 Matrix surround system, (USR) USB port and (KI6) 120V power outlet".
Interior section-(UQA) Audio system feature, updated extended description to read "harman/kardon 384-watt 11-speaker 5.1 Matrix surround system".
Interior section-Deleted (UV6) Head-Up Display entirely.
Interior section-Deleted (UFT) Side Blind Zone Alert entirely.
Exterior section-Deleted (TT2) Headlamps, Xenon entirely.
Exterior section-Deleted (UFT) Side Blind Zone Alert entirely.

No Xenon headlamps? (maybe not standard on CX, or maybe a free-flow option across the board?)
No Driver's confidence pkg? (perhaps the rearview camera will be standard, and the rest free-flow?)
No Bose anymore, switching to another stereo company, that might be better....

These are my best guesses.  Only good news looks like maybe a better stereo.  I'd like to see a couple new colors, and a wheel change for 2010

This all pertains to the LaCrosse only and has no bearing on the Enclave. From the start, the PCI (Drivers Confidence Package) was to be "late availability" on the LaCrosse, kind of like the Carbon Black paint was on the original Enclave. I'm sure it was removed from the order guide to avoid confusion for dealers who don't read "the fine print". We have no info on any of the other models for 2010.

Yes it was Lacrosse data and I was just wondering if anyone had heard rumors on what the 2010 Enclave might have.

If anybody has a better idea when that info would show up n the link mentioned on this thread.

Just speculating. Maybe would should be placing bets on what will get added or removed for 2010 Enclave.....

I know you are simply speculating and you are just the messenger but if they continue to do that I think they are on crack.  This would make my 2008 equivalent about $6K more in 2010.  With the current economy I think they are really beginning to push it if they really do that.  Just my $0.02.

Hard to break away from the familiar standard operating procedures...

My guess is that Tralfaz has pricing pretty well pegged... Of course, then the dealers will break out the incentives - GM family pricing for all, discounts, and maybe favorable lease and purchase financing rates (assuming GM will be in a position to finance vehicles)...

Very interesting.  So two things I see:
1.My CX 2009 will be distinct because of the silver green (not on 08's) and because of the 18" wheels, (not on the 2010's)
2. The 2010 CX's will be quite stealth, meaning you won't be able to tell CX's from CXL's from the wheels anymore.

But, the CX just became less desireable for some folks wanting sunroofs, and some of the upgraded audio options.  I see what GM's doing, they are saving themselves money, not having to stock two types of wheels and tires (I think this saves money Undecided) and they are getting more coin because it's forcing some folks into the CXL .   Roll Eyes

EDIT: I see a little bit of decontenting here with the lack of LED lights for the parking assist...LOL

Tralfaz

OK where was the list posted at?

Looks like the 2009 CXL is a deal or I'm I missing something? Little content changes? No real new features just a repackaging?

it looks like CX will be completely stripped down

I wish they would give up this nonsense of employee pricings and other "discounts", just make the price -what you see is what you get - but that would be very hard habit to break, unless government will say so.

You've got it... But then we don't really want the government dictating pricing procedures... Oh No
