09 Enclave Strange Blinker Sound???

Hi, I'm brand new here but learning a lot already! Thanks! I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this weird electrical issue. Let me explain. At times, when I'm using the turn signal, the normal sound disappears and instead I get what sounds like a muffled clicking...? I initially thought that it was a fluke but it's happening more and more?! Once, when it started doing that I had the radio on and the sound in the radio was also affected to where it sounded as though it was all being filtered through a crackling device!? I mentioned it to our local mechanic who just looked at me as though he thought that I might be drifting away... Anyone else ever experience this?

The blinker sound is through the sound system. If the speakers go bad, which they usually do, the blinkers will not sound normal if at all.

Thanks! I wondered. So, I guess it's time to get the speakers replaced... Also, when I first found this forum, it was because I'm experiencing the power steering issue, where at times it becomes very hard to steer. I was looking at that part of the forum but needed to join before I could post questions. Since I joined, I haven't been able to get back to that particular thread. I have found other discussions but wanted to know an approximate $$ if the rack and the pump needed to be replaced. Any suggestions? Thanks!
You can also search the traverse and acadia forum for info.
They all share parts.. practically identical under the skin.
Ok. Thanks! I'll give them a look. I should have stated that my "weird sound" corresponding with the blinker and the radio is intermittent. Any input on that?

I appreciate the input on the strange blinker sound but it seems that mine comes and goes. At times, the speakers sound just fine (at the same time as my blinker sound being normal), but then both go weird. I did see where another Enclave owner tracked it to water getting into the wiring connectors and causing the problem. Any other confirmations of that being the problem? I'm checking it out as I can... thanks!
That is always another possibility. I had an 08 which had water in the connectors, I dried them out several times and added dielectric grease to protect the connections. That was never the issue of my Blinker/Speaker problem though, I replaced the speakers which solved my problem.
