Still better than my Volvo XC90 did with AWD. It got about 15 MPG city/Highway and took premium!
G
i have over 5000 on my acadia and i get only 16 mpg city, when i travel and am on the highway i get abound 20 mpg but that is the highest i have seen.
I now have about 2200 miles. At first, doing mostly city driving, I couldn't get over 17. But after 3 250 mile trips, primarily highway, my average (I haven't reset it since I started driving my car) is at 18.8. It's gradually gone up after each trip on the highway, and then, surprisingly, hasn't gone down much after going back to city driving.

I'm pretty pleased w/ this. Comparable to the MDX I traded in, and a bigger vehicle.
While driving my Nissan Armada, I would reset my gas mileage trip computer as I travelled 72 mph down the highway. On a flat section of road, the best I would do is 17 mpg. Yesterday I did the same with my Enclave. It was hovering between high 22's and 23 mpg. I only have 1,000 miles so it is still early.
I have a FWD CXL and I am averaging 26 MPG on 1200 miles of a 3000 + mile trip.I cruise at the posted speed limits (plus a couple) and went through the mountains in GA,TN, KY plus 2 big traffic delays. I have 1800 miles on my enclave(took delivery June 3 2007)
I use TOP TIER MIDDLE Grade fuel (Shell) and had nitrogen put in my tires. If you look in your manual I belive it says to use TTF Regular Fuel and for "Best Performance" or towing to use middle grade 89 Octane.
There is just two of us but we had 500lbs of Luggage (my Boss doesn't travel Light) I weigh 240lbs but I cannot disclose my Boss's weight. I can only say That I am over twice her weight
The tire pressure didn't change more thant 3lbs in 90 plus or 57 degree weather we encountered on the fist leg of our trip.
So far I am completely satisfied with my enclave!!!!!!!

ok ,hopefully breaking in a little
We've got about 2500 miles on our FWD. We just took a trip today that was about 150 round trip and tossed in a few 'city' miles (had to run out to do some errands). On the way out, we got about 24.5 mpg (according to the computer). At the end of the trip, we ended up at right around 22.5. Pretty happy with that...
My site has a real-world Fuel Economy Survey. I doubt I have many responses yet for the Enclave, but should have quite a few for the other Lambdas.

I just bought my first tank of gas for Burt. $48 bught me 223 miles. Yikes. That's a real eye opener from my civic (30 city/ 40 hwy). According the the computer, I'm averaging 13.9 mpg. This is entirelty city miles.

If anyone feels the need to complain about how much money Exxon makes this quarter, blame me.

Consider it done. :thumb:
So far 250 miles and at 12.1 MPG. I really hope thsi improves. Been mostly city driving so far. But that is bad or worse than out Lincoln Navigator we got rid of to get this. Hoping it's just a break in issue.

BTW, has anyoen tried the Fitch Fuel Catalyst? http://www.fitchfuelcatalyst.com/products/auto/index.html

Some major magazine reviews that actually say it works. They have it for the Acadia, and should work for Enclave, same engine, right?
update:since i started thread.
just did a lot of driving the past holiday weekend and was avg 20.5 mpg.
The car obviously excels when it comes to highway mileage.
wish city was just a little better.
still love the car now have 1800
First 145 miles from the dealer to the house, all hwy but in the NC mtns-got 24.23 mpg on that tank driving 3 over the posted speed limit. I'm thrilled.
Really not pleased at all. Current avg on the info ctr is under 10 mpg.

Of course at a grand total of 8 miles on the odometer I am guessing we will see some improvement.... ;) ;D
It does go up - but slowly. I'm thinking of resetting mine once I reach 500 miles. Do you think that will give a more realistic reading or just throw it off?

It should be reset anytime you want to monitor a particular situation. If you take a short trip for a day, Reset it and see how well it does for that trip, etc. I have that feature on my other vehicles and I reset them several times per day depending what i want to check. You can reset on a fill-up, then check it when you fill up again, etc.
I envy you guys that already have yours. Good luck. 8)
OK, I was using it to get a comprehensive mpg readout. I also need to reset the one that tells you your average driving speed (not sure what it's called). Mine registered 15 mph last week. I'm well on my way to being the ideal Buick driver! ;)

Only if you stay in the left lane. ;D
