Dang. It was inevitable. While washing the Enclave today I noticed a small (but noticeable) door ding.

Believe me when I say I go out of the way to prevent this. I park in the farthest spot or next to a wall to prevent an accidental bump. Dang.

It's very hard to photograph on the dark ming paint but here is an image of another car reflected off the drivers side rear door. The trim on the other car should continue all the way across the shot but is deformed by the ding.

Dang.

Ouch! The first ding is always the worst! My husband gave my current car it's first ding, he accidently let the boat trailer slide into the bumper when he was unhooking it. Then he didn't tell me he did it until I showed it to him! No one will notice it but you, and of course it will now be the only thing you notice, right?

Just don't try this in a really full parking lot. You never know when someone who can't find a spot
will lose it and take a tire iron to a vehicle taking up 2 spots. Not that I've ever thought to do this

It depends on how deep and creased the dent is but I have had decent luck with something called Ding King.

The humanity! I feel for you. I always park and walk, and I have three kids (one an infant in a carrier) and I would rather walk through the lot in the snow than let some schmuck park next to me. Some a$$hole hit my wife's van a week ago while "parking" and then took off to go park somewhere else! I know this because I was at least 20 spaces from anyone, and then when I got there the bumper was dented and hanging off on one side.

Anyway, you will notice it every time you wash it. Just take a deep breathe, relax and hope you get no more. As long as the ding is not ON a crease, it can be taken out easily, but wait until there are more to make it cost effective to repair.

i saw this product on tv several years ago and have been looking for every since then to buy it. i know how it feels to have your car dented and most of the time its by jealous folk...sounds unreal but soooo true. my car would only get dents in it where i used to live seemed no matter how careful i parked to make sure i was away from folk they would make sure they parked right up on my car and dent it. i dont have to worry about that anymore. in the streets i get to park in the handicapped parking spaces so, that saves my cars no matter how big they are. ;D
