Oh, I just love the canvas/nylon covering and checkered window frames. Do you think it will make it to market like that?
All kidding aside, thank you for posting the link. This is the bread and butter everyday sedan that Buick needs as a volume seller so they can continue to design vehicles like the Enclave. I hope it is a winner, just can't tell from the disguised pictures.
Thanks again. :thumb:

Looks like it will be another hit. I love how the way roof line is dropping towards the rear, kind of Altima. If they make it as nice as the Encalve, I guess, I will be going from two Nissans in the house to two Buicks! Has to have AWD though.

I guess it is OK if it has that basic Asian/Nissan shape, but at least it will have Buick quality and not that horrible Nissan reliability. According to Business Week, the new Nissan Altima is one of the most recalled cars of 2007.

You are correct. We don't need a Buick "Altima" :-[

I think they have taken the "car bra" concept WAY TO FAR !! I prefer something a little smaller and more "subtle" ;) ;)

I read this some time ago and have not posted here because of the domestic vs. foriegn divide. But with the LaCrosse spy shots in the thread (not sure about the name of the thread though), it is certainly something I think most will enjoy reading --

The 2010 LaCrosse will probably look a lot more like the China version than the current US one, and I like the steering wheel controls much better on the China market Lacrosse than on our Enclave --

GM is a global company just as their competition is. Where HQ sits means less and less with each passing year.

Glad you enjoyed it. I will not be looking to buy a LaCrosse, but I will definitely be stopping by the Buick dealership to see how it turned out in 2009 and if the sibling rivalry inspired design works.

Buick needs to start with a fresh name for the LaCrosse replacement.
LaCrosse reminds too many people of the "old" Buick. With the momentum started with the Enclave, we need a new name. If they pull from Buick heritage for a name, Regal may still remind people of the old Buick. Go to something like Wildcat or something totally new and different.
