Thanks for the info "imgntht" I just got a call from my dealer and my Enclave is here. He needs to order the wheels and the dual dvds for the dealer to install hopefully by the end of this week. My dealer quoted $2400.00 for rims and tires installed plus $1,000.00 for trade on 19" chrome set which I did not think was to much to pay.

There is at least one person I know of on this board who has the RV981 on their E. Whether they have AWD or not, I do not know.

RV987s on the other hand are not listed on gmaccessoriezone.com so my guess would be they are not certified. That being said, if the bolt pattern fits - I'm pretty sure they are OK.

It looks to me (from Google) that the RV987 is a 2008 part number for the Acadia and the Enclave. You're fine for that one. I'd go for the other one personally (RV981).

That was me. I was told that the RV981's were for AWD only by a service manager at a GM accessories installation hub in St. Louis (services many GM dealerships with accessory parts and installs). These guys install wheels like the RV981 every day. Things can change, but the guy really knows his stuff, so on that day six months ago I am sure he was right. I'll shoot him an email and see what he says.

But I really think they are wrong
It would usually state it on the site next to the wheel before you buy it that is for Awd
Also I called several dealers and they said no problem and there computer does not show that is only for Awd

Also what do you think of the RV987
I never seen them on a enclave

I have to see the RV987's on a vehicle to make a fair judgement. They are very cool.

The RV981 makes an Enclave almost look like a $80,000 Porsche IMHO.
They were not available when I bought my clave in late 2007. That didn't stop the sales guys from trying to sell them to me (they tried (and succeeded) to convince me that the RV025's were the wheels in the brochure centerfold. Some people on this forum swore they were the same. Point is.. salesman will say anything. If they say they can put them on a FWD Enclave go for it. Are these "take offs" (new wheels from a deal where the customer saw and then either couldn't pay or didn't like them, etc).

Ok I spoke to them I believe it was aoron and he said no problem with fitting
He said the only difference is the awd would need the stabilizer bar
So I am going to get them ...... Yeah
If any one wants the info where to get them for 1150 shipped mounted balanced lugs lock and also with the correct tires
He has only 2 left
He has RV987 and RV025

I can't believe the price. These are like $3500-4000 installed at list at a dealership. Are you sure these aren't coming from Paulie Walnut's trunk?

Seriously.. Make sure and post some pics of the Enclave when you get the wheels.

If anybody wants the 20 inch wheels he has 2 sets left for 1150 shipped brand new with tires mounted , balanced , lugs and locks , tpms, and the only thing you would have to change is the center caps because it comes with chevy
The models he has left are
RV987
RV025
He is on eBay and has great feedback
His ebay name is sanjdill
Or just do a search for traverse wheels and you will find them
He is asking for 1295 but he said just offer 1150 and he will except the offer
I bought the RV981 and should have them at the end of the week
I hope this info helps someone
Thanks for this guy I will have the wheels I really wanted because I would never pay the 4000 the dealer wanted
