1. What year?

2. I would start by replacing the two outer gas struts and see if that solves it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Fits-08-16-Buick-Enclave-Liftgate-6165-Gas-Lift-Supports-Struts-Prop-Rod-Shocks/221969936264?fits=Year:2008|Model:Enclave|Make:Buick&epid=23019005022&hash=item33ae706f88:g:~V4AAOSw-pNb86o6:rk:1:pf:0

3. If that doesn't work, then I would dig deeper into the actuator/motor assembly. I had to go thru that, taking the rear seat out, taking the left side interior panel off, removing it etc. and come to find out that it was the actual lock latching on the liftgate door itself.
