My 2009 enclave works great with one exception, each time I fuel up the car has trouble starting. The car will crank and crank but not turn over. It takes a couple attempts to get it to fire up. Has anyone else had this problem?
Starts any given time without any issue, I only seem to be having and issue AFTER I put any amount of fuel in my car. Takes several attempt to get my car started, best I can explain is as if its coughing and wanting to turn over. HELP! Also note that there is NO"Check Engine" light on.
It's almost certainly in stock at your local parts store for a little more money if you don't want to wait for shipping. Well, normally it would be in stock. Who knows now with this economy. There's definitely one sitting in a shipping container on a ship outside a port in LA.
I didn’t read the other threads, but I replaced a few purge valves under the same condition. Someone finally told me how sensitive it is. DO NOT “top off” or “round up” when filling your tank. When the pump stops, do not add another cent’s worth! I’ve had my ‘08 for 8 years, but I didn’t know about this until about 5 years ago. After replacing 4 valves in 3 years, I haven’t had anymore issues.
