Hi, thanks for the add. I have a 2011 Buick Enclave needing the timing chains and related parts changed. I find plenty of information about the problem but very little information about the replacement of the parts. I would like to know if I should only use AC Delco parts? Also I would like to have a list of the parts (by part number if possible) that I need to buy to replace the chain and guides. If anyone can help me I would be greatful. My email is:

Thanks in advance

There is an updated kit that has all the parts necessary for the repair- offered by AC DELCO.
There are also other brands with similar kits.
Though some dont include all parts.

Timing Set- search for that on say Rock Auto.

Thank you for your reply. Does the AC Delco kit have to be purchased at the dealership or can I find the kit online? Do you happen to know the AC Delco kit part number?

I found the ACDelco parts for my Timing Set replacement. Can anyone tell me if the ACDelco Timing Set part number 12693218 come with all the chains, tensioners, gasket, seals and chain guides. All the part dealers has pictures of the Timing Set but none of them show the guides.
