I went with Leather....

More for the durability and I have never had leather before. The Premium did not interest me but I did want Nav so I got an aftermarket OEM replacement installed...OGM1 Advent with a rear screen for the little ones. I love it!

CXL2 version because you only get to order a few vehicles from factory in your lifetime so you might as well order the best you can afford. Now the waiting, that's the hard part.

You are right. Always get the best that is affordable.

My wife HATES leather. She's a born n bred northerner who hates the weather in the south. For her, there's nothing worse than hot leather on the legs when she's wearing shorts (AND NO, YOU DON'T GET PICS) so cloth was our only option. That left us with Base or Convenience as the only viable options. Once she picked her color, it was all about finding either of those models that a local dealer could trade for. Turns out there was a convenience package about 110 miles away.

There is finally a CX (i.e. Convenience Package) in the 2012 survey. Plus, it is a limited edition Twilight Blue to boot. :thumb:

I've had Goldie, premium, no nav, no moon for 3 months. Wanted heated and cooled seats, articulating headlights and bose system. Best car I've ever owned. If your girl friend doesn't like leather, buy her sheepskin.
I envy all you guys that don't have to have a front license plate, it's the law in ca. I don't see any car out there that designs a space for the dumb thing!

When they build them for the Candian market, they'll be ready for front plates as all Canadian provinces require it. I was told my Enclave will be built July 16th.,was hoping for sooner but such is life.

We went with the convenience pkg, we live in Arizona, so it had to be either heated/cooled leather, or cloth. Since we have young children, we didn't want to subject them to the scorching leather, we went with cloth.

Actually there's only 4 provinces that require the front plate, they are B.C, Manitoba, New Brunswick and Ontario. The rest of use don't have to deal with that ugly thing anymore. If you order a GM vehicle in any other province it's a $15 option since you would only use it for a novelty plate.

Cloth is alive (and well?) in the 2012 Enclave! :woot:
