I am wondering if anyone knows about the % of sales of both
seating types.

My wife likes a middle row bench, and it seems most Enclaves come
with middle Captains chairs.

We have hauled 8 people in our SUV, and also have had 2 child seats
mixed in.

I have no idea what the % is but I love the look of my captains chairs. I'll probably never have anybody else in the truck so I can't speak for the utility.

Captains chairs were standard while the bench was an optional. We wanted the bench and it took me a while to find one since I was looking for a CPO. The fact that I needed the tow package made it even more rare.

We had captains chairs in our Expedition and never liked them. They were nice but basically having a 4 seater unless you made someone crawl way back to the 3rd row was annoying.

On the Traverse-- its the other way around.

Bench is standard- and captains are optional or bundled in packages/trims.

When I ordered mine- I made sure it had the bench and tow package.
We often carry 8.
Sometimes with 3 child seats. (2 in driver and middle position of 2nd row) and 1 in 3rd row.
