...must come to an end.

This forum used to be one of my favorite places to just hang out and visit. I still pop in every day, but so many of us have traded away from our Enclaves, and the friendly faces and banter are few and far between. I'll continue to peek in here every day, but my visits are very short these days.

I have fond memories of this forum and all of you.

Agreed. I started to participate less as time went on but my take is that things really went down once they went to the new software.

I come around much less than I did before the change.

Same here. We haven't had our Enclave in over 2 1/2 years but I still try to pop in (an even still contribute sometimes!).

I am trying to simplify though so I may soon limit my visits to "whenever I think of it" ...

I'll pop in an try an answer some troubleshooting questions but for the most part if I'm looking for answers to something I search the acadia and traverse forums. Seems like far more of the Buick demographic are the "I took it to the dealer because it needed a license plate light" vs the Traverse and Acadia owners are more likely to DIY even large repair jobs. When I first got our Enclave and joined here I was browsing around and there was a thread about a brake job and someone said, "oh, you're crazy working on something like brakes, only let the pros do that before you mess them up and cause a wreck". Anyone that's worked on cars much knows you could probably train a monkey to do a brake job and it's one of the best places to save a lot of money for not much work. At that point I figured this wasn't going to be much of a DIY resource. Thankfully I've found some good answers here from people like rbarrios.

As a Moderator I check in most every day. I agree though that the spark is gone. I still have my 08 Enclave and have no plans on selling or trading anytime soon. However things are different than when I joined 11 years ago.

I still stop in. Granted, I don't contribute as I am not having the problems I had with the "swimming pool on 4 wheels", 2007 Outlook.

Have been busy lately with little spammers clogging up the Traverse, Equinox and Outlook forums. Have kept me busy trying to get rid of all of their posts. One was very active and it took me like forever to rid most of the posts.

Anyhoo, always nice to read what others have to say and who contributes.

I'm not on the forum as often these days. I slowed down my forum activity a bit a couple of years ago after trading in my Enclave. But, the new forum software and format was what really triggered my reduced interest. As MRBUICK has stated, this forum has lost its spark, especially for the early forum adopters who enjoyed the original format so much.

I still check in periodically to help to moderate the forum, and also to try to try to socialize when the opportunity presents itself.

I'm still checking in just to see what others are experiencing with the new designs, and to see if what might be hitting me with my 08 Cherry-Ot. But still find the new forum format to be very piss poor for navigating as the old one was great to see all sorts of options as to who was online, etc.

The new forum format also has dampened my interest. Why was it changed? Anyone know?

Lately, I've started to spend much more time on forums because of my insomnia. I just don't know how to spend the time at night so why not to read some threads. But in any way, I need to do something with my insomnia. Want to try Etizolam (check here to know more about it) and I really hope that it will help me.

Insomnia? It's not easy, guy.. Looks like you are continuing the Tyler case))) However, we won't be about the Fight Club) Try to play new online casino games. This is a rather monotonous process, so it should help you fall asleep. In the end, if you win, you can go for a consultation with a good doctor. It'll be better than depending on sleeping pills.
