CHECK OVER AT OUR SISTER SITE WWW.ACADIAFORUM.NET AND I BELIEVE I'VE SEEN SOME OVER THERE.Tony007 said:I'm looking to decide on the rear seat option. Does anyone have any pics of the 2'nd row bench seat option??
Thanks in advance..
I AGREE, THAT MIDDLE SEAT IS ONLY USEFUL FOR A CAR SEAT WHICH THEN MAKES THE OUTSIDE SEATS EVEN MORE UNCOMFORTABLE. I ALSO ENJOY THE AIRINESS OF THE CAPTAINS CHAIRS IN THE CUV. THE BENCH SEAT REMINDS ME TOO MUCH OF A CAR AND CAUSES ME TO LITERALLY FEEL CLAUSTIPHOBIC (IMO). TOO MANY PEOPLE AND JUST TOO MUCH GOING ON LOL.raftdoc said:Before you get serious about the 2nd row bench, find an Acadia or Outlook with one and do the derriere test. We were going to order the bench until we sat on one in an Acadia - the center seating position is very uncomfortable and usable for emergency seating only IMO. In addition, the captains chairs are significantly more comfortable than the outboard seating positions on the bench, again IMO.

I went to the Saturn dealership to check out the middle bench (GMC/Buick dealer wouldn't think of ordering one for stock). Not comfortable, and it DID NOT RECLINE (or we couldn't make it do so). It did have a so-so cupholding armrest.43sbest said:We have the second row bench and love it, also had it in our Rendezvous. ...The second row bench does recline.
