looking to buy 2008 CXL with 22,000 miles loaded for $34,000, but worry about the rumors of tranny problems.....anyone have any answers??

I have a 2008 Buick enclave awd.my trans sticks in low gear and I have to reset it with a 50.00 Wal-Mart plug in under steering wheel machine.a scanner code reset and it shifts again.yes I also changed the fluid..ir says every 30.000 miles..
