I know they are on the saturn and gmc...i assume they'll fit. if anybody could photoshop them onto an enclave, that would be awesome. the enclave needs a little something towards the bottom of the doors...i think that would really toughen-up the look. any thoughts?

i think the 20's look sweet, without looking to out of place on the enclave, but my mom said that she could care less what the wheels look like :angryfire: :eek:hno: :sosad:

The first picture in rocketman's album in the gallery shows the integrated assist steps quite nicely. It's also the only picture I've seen of the dealer option 10 spoke 19" chrome wheels, which also look better than I thought they would.

:help: Are the integrated assist steps an option or are they automatically included with certain packages? I like them but haven't seen them mentioned on the "Build your Enclave" section of Buick's web site. Also, does anyone know when it will be possible to order the 20" wheels on an Enclave? Thanks. 8)

I believe they DIO.

Since Enclave is already low enough to the ground I believe you don't need 'em unless you are getting 'em for the looks. I have running boards on my Pathfinder which is still higher than the Enclave without them.

I never use the running boards on my current suv to entry/exit. My daughter used to use them when she was little, but not any longer. The enclave is low enough that I do not think that they would be very functional. It does change the look - I like the look with the running boards. The most functional use would be for washing the roof.

Running boards / assist steps - very nice

Just an FYI for anyone thinking about ordering the "integrated assist steps" (running boards)....we just got our Enclave in the past few days and had also ordered the assist steps to be installed....they are very nicely done, much more integrated than the Acadia ones. THey look seamless with the vehicle (helps that ours is Cocoa so everything is all one color).

It actually took the service guys quite a while to install them - they are not just "bolt on" like the Acadia, you actually have to remove various parts and even take off the wheels I think according to the service guys. Ours was their first install so they were following the directions just like you or I would do if we got them...actually a little funny to watch. They said now that they know how to do it they could get it done in an hour or less but it is still a lot more involved than the Acadias...

My wife is short at 5'1" and she does find them useful even though the Enclave is not as high as my Expedition. So overall we are very pleased we decided to get them....

Re: Running boards / assist steps - very nice

wbj,

I am having them ordered for our dealer to install when (i.e., if) we get our Enclave. What was your cost through the dealer? Also, can you post some photos of those on your vehicle?

Thanks.

There is a pretty good picture in the "Articles and Reviews" section
"Buick's new crossover beats the best"
I am sorry, but I don't know how to link it.
I have them on mine and they look great! I paid the dealer $650.00 installed.
gmpartsdirect.com has them for $610.41, plus you will have to get them installed, and pay freight?
