are the sunroof coverings allowing in heat this summer?

I'm not noticing significant heat coming into the car, although I'm sure some must on the 90+ degree days. I really like driving w/ the mesh covering because it allows for fresh air, w/out bugs flying in.

The shades seem to to a good job keeping out the heat. This my first car with a sunroof.

and it does a good job of keeping the sun off your head. i like the mesh screen a lot much better than my volvo w/out it.

I think they do a good job and look nice, I just wish the front screen was powered...it seems a bit clunky compared to the rear powered screen. I can't really comment on real useage yet, those were just my impressions after many test drives. Mine is still on order.

Obviously, the rear is powered because the driver can not reach it. If the front was powered, and we had every other thing we wanted(see the nit picky thread), this vehicle would cost $50,000 and would not have the price advantage it has now. I am happy with it the way it is.

I think the screens are working very well. I think it makes the sunroof so much more practical. You can get the fresh air without baking.
