I have an 09 enclave cxl, sometimes when I turn the wheel it’s very hard. I was wondering if it was the power steering pump?

That would be the 1st guess.
But i would 1st look at the serpentine belt.
It may be old and glazed. .... thus slipping on the pulleys.
The tensioner may be weak too.

When was the last time you replaced the serp. Belt?

Enclaves are notorious for water pumps if has metal chips in fluid figure on a rack also. This is a big job 8-10 hours. I had a 2016 same thing plus trans went also. Shame is Buick had to knew of these issues for many years and did nothing to fix problems. I will not support a company like that anymore. I traded mine in on a quality Subaru outback.
