Ok tonight when we were looking at the enclave my mom told the sales man that i had been researching this thing for months and could probably tell him more about it than he could tell me, so the first thing he said is do you know what BFI means???

i thought about if for a min or two and finally decided to say no.
he said that it means body frame integration, i am not sure if integration is the right word for the I but i dont remember, anywase he said that that is the new thing with crossovers!?!?

can someone clarify this more?

Ask the salesman if he means unibody.

Trucks are body on frame. Crossovers are normally built on car platforms, which are unibody. Lamda's however are probably their own platform, so marketing groups love to come up with new terms to make them sound important or different.

yeah a particular dealer tried to tell me that the enclave was on its own platform....i had to tell him no it wasnt. the guy that was helping me was really nice and he was asking me questions about the car because he had never even drivin it until i came and took him for a drive. he knew absolutely nothing about the car and he was very impressed w/my knowledge of the car...we had fun we were gone for over an hour just driving and talking. i think he was having more fun that i was lol.

today we drove by the dealer again after we tested the edge and they had another enclave in, cocoa CX hno: but my dad wouldnt let us test drive it!!!!!!!! it was sorta ok because it was a cx but it would have still got a feel for the enclave... oh well, at least i got to see one!
