Awesome! Congrats, GoTerps. I think you might be the first one on here to pull the trigger on an Enclave!
Congrats GoTerps! When you get authorized, see if you can post a link to the Enclave manuals like the Acadia's.GoTerps said::blob:
Put in the order yesterday for a CXL AWD Cocao Metallic with the extras. Dealer estimates 10 weeks. I'm hoping it will arrive in time for the Conquest discount, which runs through July 9. Good experience all around.

I used to be a regular Buick driver, but left when they went with On Star and Lexus introduced a great navigation system. We saw the Enclave, Acadia, and Outlook at the Washington DC and Baltimore auto shows. We were interested in the Crossover cars. We never had a SUV; didn't want one because of the rough ride, noise, and I do my very best to drive on paved roads. But, we commute to the ocean often, so we thought a Crossover would do it. I came away from the DC show with 5 candidates: Caddy SRS, BMW X5, MB M-Class, Acura MDX, and Enclave. I read up on those, looked some more, and then narrowed my list to the MDX and Enclave. Test drove the MDX and the Acadia. This was a tough one, because I was hoping one would outshine the other, but both were great. In the end, I went for the value. I simply got more with the Enclave. Okay, I should have waited, but Spring is here, and Summer starts soon. I'd like some time with it at the beach this year, and of course it will be ready for tailgating at Terps' games in the fall.Canuck said:Buick,
What would you compare the Enclave interior to? Did you feel comfortable and ready to drive for 10+hrs. What were the 2 or 3 items that make you feel comfortable in pulling the trigger without a test drive. What are the 2 or 3 items that sold the car to you?
Since I missed the NY Autoshow, How is '08 Higlander compared to Acadia/Enclave? I am more concerned about a useful 3rd row seat with easy in & out also how is it's overall size compared to Lambdas?ItsaBuick? said:Glad to hear you could hardly tell a difference between the MDX and Acadia.
For those who are more cost sensitive there are 3 others that I saw at Chicago Auto Show that are nice but not high end luxury.
Highlander (new 08 model), Veracruz and CX-9.
it is admin....admin said:From reading previews and specs, the 08 Highlander still doesn't appear to be even close to the Lambdas in dimensions. It's 13 inches shorter, the novel capts-to-bench seat looks unusable by a human, which means it'll stay hidden 99% of the time, I'd imagine. And from the pics, the rear seats look absolutely tiny. I'll try to find full specs for a better comparison. While it is a slight improvement in looks over the previous gen, it's still pretty boring IMO, and doesn't even come CLOSE to the Enclave in looks...
