olks:

Is there a video or post you can point me to which explains how to change the daytime running light on an '11 Enclave?

If not, is this something one can do at home?

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Thank you, JMW

On the side where the burnt out light is, you need to turn the wheel in the opposite direction,

Then you need to undo the screws holding the front black plastic panel in place.

Then pull it back and reach in and change out the bulb.

My hands are like bear paws, so I let the dealer do it ;D

Thank you. I also found this: "Use Google and search for 2011 Enclave DLR change. First hit is a video."

oddly, yesterday, 3 Enclaves driving behind me, had 1/2 of these burned out--cannot tell what year, but pre-LCI. I was thinking of checking my wife's '11 to see if one is burned out as well. imho they should have simply used LL bulbs, the savings is so minimal compared to the warranty claims if users decided to bring them in, and yes, I get GMPP does not cover, but b2b should.

It isn't worth to replace by ourselves? Dealership croc shops are charging $30-$45 per bulb replacement. The cost of the 2 bulbs is less than $10, so we will be saving a lot.

Don't get me wrong. Completely worth it. I don't have a 'star' screwdriver for the screws that hold the panel on.

I would be spending the $20.00 for a torn bit set and bulbs to do it myself.
