Awesome write up! Thanks, Who did you order all the parts through? Looking at doing the same job here in the next week. Pretty relieved the injectors all come preloaded with the seal in place, that was a question i had about the new injectors.

Thanks!

I just wanted to reach out and say thanks for the write up on replacing these injectors! I had symptoms of bad injectors so i went ahead and tackled the job thanks to your write up and I am sure glad I did! I'm surprised that my Enclave ran as good as it was with them being in this poor of condition! All were covered in carbon build up and 3 of them were stuck open. I had no pressure in the fuel rail when i went to relieve it. She runs like a fine watch now though! Thanks again!!

Excellent post, but why are all the photos blurry and with a photobucket logo? I am logged in (obviously since I posted this).

Just got a P02A1 on Cyl 2. Car blew lots of smoke out the tail pipe on the way home.

Answered my own question on photobucket. Unless photobucket account holders pay a fee, their photos are blurred. @Justin-PA do you have them posted anywhere else?

I believe its--- blurry because its one of Photobuckets 'free' accts. Once you go over the free bandwidth-- they are blurred.

@rbarrios yes you are right!

I was able to change my injectors yesterday. Took me all (i mean ALL) day. But I did some extra cleaning, did plugs, PCV valves, and air filter. Had some oil on back (1-3-5) plugs, but hoping it was a plugged PCV valve.

There was an issue on some model years with porosity, allowing oil to seep into the spark plug tube. Eventually causing misfires.
The fix was to replace the heads. The spark plug hole sleeves were not replaceable.
BUT--- if you are up there in miles.... and only had a bit of oil in there...the easiest thing to do is clean it up.. and continue driving.
If thats how much oil seeped in there after-- say 90,000 miles... then.. so be it. clean up- and drive another 90,000 miles.... by then- youll prob be ready to replace vehicle.
