Cooled Seats may be on the way

the cooled seats will be the bomb.... now, that i can use.

I have a hard time believing this...the news would have leaked out about that by now. If this does prove to be true, and it's only available on the Buick, then I would seriously reconsider back to the Enclave from the Acadia. Wearing a suit to work in the middle of summer in the midwest can be downright uncomfortable (94 degrees with 85% humidity...when is fall again?).

Try 97 with 97%.

Until then, I will continue to drop Ralph's Italian Ices down the front of my shorts.

Yeah, so how did that work out for you waiting for the cooled seats? And center console? Rumors are only ever rumors, and hearing them from a dealer is the most suspect source of all.

Then again, rumor has it, somewhere else in this forum, that cooled seats are on the slate for 09. Take it with a grain of salt but that is something to consider if you're on the fence about a new car this model year.

thats one of the reasons why we are waiting. so they had better have them for MY 2009!!

Since I've waited so late already, I think we'll just wait another couple months longer and plan to order an '09. It's a great car with or without cooled seats, but that would absolutely awesome to add.

I've never tried cooled seats. How good are they?

I think they're great. The ones we had in our Expedition did a very good job of cooling off the old backside. My only gripe is that it took a while to cool down, but more importantly because the way Ford did it at least, it also slowed down the heated seat option. I think both the heating and cooling used fans to move the air, rather than just resistive elements in the seats like traditional seat heaters. When it is cold outside I want the seats warm NOW, not in 5 minutes.

ive used them in my aunts 07 STS and they work really well.. pretty quick too
