Tomorrow is day 100 in the quest for my ordered Enclave, (4/23). In an attempt to make me feel better, who else is out there with a undelivered April Order?

I ordered mine on April 16th and got it on April 30th. Of course the first one off the truck at my dealership was nearly identical to what I ordered so I took that one instead.

Sorry about your wait. I have checked GMbuypower several times and never saw my ordered vehicle in inventory so I am not sure mine would have been built yet either.
Talk about injustice. You have the best gallery on the forum and many of us here are thankful for that. Could it be too much to hope that the "500 rushed to production" are actually outstanding April orders?
awwwww ticner,

i sure hope you are part of the 500. you have blessed us so immensly w/your gallery and now we anxiously wait to see your beautiful ride. hold on ticner its coming. :comfort:
Good luck ticner...

MsS42, did you get yours yet?
Tickner,

What are going to do when your Enclave arrives.....you will be lost. You will feel like you need to contribute to the forum but will want to drive the ride. Oh are you in for some heavy choices down the road.
Ticner if you want a Carbon Flash Mettalic you can come and get it from NY. That's that one I was getting back in early June with an expected date of arrival in early July but it never did. The dealer sent me an email that it is in transit and asking me to schedule an apointment !! I think I just broke his heart by saying I have already gotten a Red Jewel!
He's close enough where he could just go up to Michigan and buy one off the lot for a decent price (they seem to be reasonable about the pricing there). However, I think he knows that, but is just trying to be loyal to this specific dealership for business purposes.

Ticner, did they give you any paperwork showing the details of the order? When we ordered ours our sales person gave us a copy of what was going to be ordered. Then we went in the following weekend and our sales person gave us a photocopy of a printout showing that the order had been accepted and again we could see our options listed.

Just wondering, in case they may have screwed something up in the order. Maybe not since there are a couple of other people who have been waiting even longer than you. Maybe it's just one of those things.

I've got it all, right down to the order number, (KZFTS9). It even shows that it was accepted by GM as a priority 1 build, whatever that means. It looks to me like the biggest share of ordered and delivered models on this forum are CXL's. Mine is a CX, 8-pass., cargo net & shade, sunroof, driver confidence pkg., machined alum. wheels and the color is red jewel tintcoat, $34825, (paying invoice $32395). Maybe the higher end CXL's are more in demand and are taking priority over the CX's. Most of the ones that I have seen on car carriers have been the CXL's. I see my dealer every Wednesday while making sales calls, so tomorrow I'll see what's up, (again). It still hadn't even moved out of status code 1100 as of last week.
From a business standpoint, the CXL makes GM greater margins (and dealers, too) so its likely that they get more manufacturing capacity than the lower-cost CX models.

Talked to my dealer this morning. Even got the owner involved, (I stopped at his office first) along with the general manager. I was told that everything that they have on order, 1 for stock 4/9, mine 4/23 and a second customer order 5/22 are all at status code 1100. My salesman said that his GM rep really gave no good explanation for what the hold up was with mine. They said that he also told them not to submit any more orders for Enclave's at this time. Basically, if a customer comes into their dealership and wants to order a Enclave, it's tough ---- ! I have no idea what it really means. The dealer is not in trouble with GM. As I left, I saw 2 new 2008 GMC trucks being unloaded and they have enough new Lucerne's for two dealer's. One thing did worry me though, the second salesman that was standing there, acted like he didn't even know what a Enclave was. I did him the courteousy of getting him a brochure and putting it on his desk. The bad thing is that, even if mine does finally get picked up to be built in the near future, it will still be around Sept. 1 before it hit the dealer. To me, having to wait 4 months for an American made car that was in production when ordered, is totally unacceptable. Maybe somebody is trying to tell me something and it really is time to walk away. Sure makes me glad that I have driven nothing but GM vehicle's my whole life and currently have 3. Great job GM!

Let's see now.....if I ordered mine (CX,Cocoa,Cashmere cloth, Sunroof, Remote Start, Engine block heater) on April 9th.....

As of July 19th, it became code 3000....
As of yesterday, July 31st, I was told by the dealer that it is now slated TO BE BUILT ON AUGUST 20!!!
The sales manager took my call today and tomorrow he's going to call GM and see what he can do.

[size=10pt][size=10pt]If I get it by Labor Day it will be 5 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for your pain. It's no longer fun for either of us. Sounds like we have ordered the same model (CX) and options. Looks like anything under $40000 isn't a priority build as most of the orders on here seem to be for the higher dollar CXL's. Nothing different between ours but the colors. I haven't even gone to code 3000 yet. Starting to look like September/October for me. GM, are you listening, you're blowing it. My goal now is to completely drive my dealer crazy. At least I'll feel better. I even stopped telling anybody that I have one on order. They don't believe that anybody would be waiting this long. I play golf with 2 guys from the GM truck plant in Ft. Wayne, In and 1 from the GM stamping plant in Marion, IN., along with 4 GM retirees. They find it hard to believe. I'm a ACDelco WD and have spent millions with their service parts division in the past 30 plus years. It sure doesn't mean much.

Ticner58, OMG, I would be royally Tic'd off. I would not lay off that dealer until they proved they have gone to the ends of the earth to find out the reason for such an insane wait. Continue to keep us posted on your progress and good luck! Hope to see pictures of yours soon!!
What I am seeing is two probable things here Tic.....

#1 My dealer is a small dealer - not really his or my fault - and I am apparently his only Enclave special order
#2 I've also come to the same conclusion that if it isn't the super-duper model with all the extras pricing at
or near $45,000, then it goes to the BOTTOM of the pile of orders.

My dealer's Sales Mgr. told me today that once they get the VIN during the build week, they are going to take
my case to GM and see what they can do for me......I hope they do something substantial to make me happy
because, I am VERY UNHAPPY.

I think September 1st is going to be my cut-off date and cancel.....I've had enough!!! :angryfire: :angryfire: :angryfire:

This is day 114 of my Enclave adventure. I was at my dealer this morning, (went straight to the owner) and when we checked my order status, it had actually moved to code #2001 from 1100. It's a miracle. They were finally allociated another one. I actually saw it with my own eyes though. He also showed my how well the shipping process works. They had a stock unit (to high dollar for me) that was in transit last week and should have been delivered by now. It is now shown as "bayed" whatever that means. He said that means that it is no longer in transit and must still be sitting in Lansing. I truely believe that even the dealers can't get the correct information form GM. As for mine, here's hoping that it doesn't sit at 2100 for the next six weeks. I'll bet it does!
Movement

As one who has been waiting since 20 April, I was pleased to learn yesterday that my Order Status Code moved to 3300. Mine is/will be loaded including Luxury Package. There's hope!
I am only hoping that this is real progress, not false hope. :thumb:

I guess somehow I got things wrong. Dealer told me that he gave me bad information. The #2001 code was for a 08 Acadia that they have on order for stock. Mine still sits at 1100. I knew that any movement in my status was to good to be true. I'm commited to waiting this thing out, however long it takes. It's the vehicle that I have hoped GM would build for years. To many happy owners out there that own one.
:jaw: I wish I had the ability to handle something like that as calmly as you. I'd be furious and I'd make sure everone knew it.
