Does your Enclave have a "PET" name, and what is it? How about your other vehicles?

Actually I wanted "Viola" for the 1990 Cadillac (my grandmother's name), but was over ruled by MRSBUICK.
After all, it is her car 8)

I refer to mine as "The Buick". I call my Tribeca "The Tribeca". I guess that the answer to the poll question is a resounding "no". ;)

We have two cars which we call 'The Buick' and 'The Honda'. No nicknames.

The only car we owned that had a name was our first car, a 1963 Impala bought new that we called 'Betsy'. We drove Betsy for 11 years and then bought a used '72 Plymouth Fury III. This car did not have a name, but we called it a lot of names. It got between 8 and 9 MPG and had a lot of problems.

No, but looking for one. Enclave just doesn't roll off the tongue. Sometimes call it the "E" or just the "Buick". Prior Buicks had one though......
91 Roadmaster Wagon - the "Wagon"
93 Regal GS, silver - the "Silver Bullet"
99 Buick Regal GS, green - the "Green Hornet"

Mom's Car or Mommy Car.....................
Or in our case, "Dad's car". Depends on who I'm talking to. Usually I'll just refer to it as "my car". Sometimes "the Buick" and other times, "the Enclave". Seems that when it was very new, it was hard for me to call it "the Enclave" when talking to friends, because I figured they wouldn't know what it was. I have never named a vehicle, but my wife's first car was a 94 Cavalier in the dark purple color, and she would call it her "purple durple". That's the only one we really had a name for. On occasion, I refer to our Bonneville as "the Bonnie" but since people have used that nick name for years, it's not really original.

The Enclave is just..........the Enclave, but I did have a silver 1998 Ford Taurus years ago that was referred to as "The Slug". If you remember that body styling the name was very appropriate. Some friends also referred to it as "The Suppository"! I went from the Taurus to a silver Chrysler Concorde which in retrospect was just a stretched out Taurus. Friends transferred the nicknames seamlessly from the Taurus to the Concorde!

Re: Re: Does your Enclave have a "PET" name?

My co-workers call mine the "Autoclave." That's the high temp cooker we use to sterilize our instruments for the operating room. Considering how warm these heated seats keep me, even when it's -8F outside, I guess that's appropriate...

(Although the guy who started calling it that pointed out that his driver's seat heats, cools, AND massages. Now THAT would be nice!)
