I have a 2012 Buick Enclave AWD 3.6 ltr engine.
The dome light quit working for me and doesn't work when either front or rear doors open.
But when I turn on manually it works fine and dims as well. What do I need to do to repair the problem. It's beneficial for me to have the lights and see what I getting out of my car as I am getting older.

It shows that it says off because the light is on on the dome switch. There is a little emblem with a slash thru it. I pressed it and held it but haven't figured it out.
What do I do to turn on?

Press in out on that squarish button.

2nd option is your door switches are bad.
Does the radio turn off when you remove key (radio stays on) and open the drivers door...at this point radio should turn off.

This is what it looks like on mine. You press the little "DOME OFF" button and it disables the lights. I don't know if it indicates if it's on or off, but it's a pretty simple test to sit in the car with the door open and press the button to see if anything happens. I'm 99% sure this is your issue because I can't imagine all your door switches going bad at once.

I've used it in the past when taking home lumber that wouldn't let me close the rear hatch and forgotten to re-enable it, resulting in, "what did you do to my car, the dome light isn't working" txt's from the wife.

Back in 2009 and 10..
This was a common issue.
People didnt know that was a switch.

I never realized that that was a switch on there and then I'll get it as pressed back of it
