Just saw that the Enclave is #6 on AOL for SUV searches. That is amazing considering it is just starting to be advertised. By the way, I really like both of the Enclave TV commercials I have seen. Also, the Acadia was #8.

they may be predicting that for men purchasers that the acadia will be #1 but i think the women and prefer the look and the feel of the enclave over the acadia. I know i do. I wonder why they are not pushing the outlook which imo looks wayyyy better than the acadia. if i weren't getting the enclave i would certainly get the outlook. the acadia just has too much of that black accent on it for my taste.

I think the Enclave will have a tough couple of years because of the old-people-drive-Buicks mentallity. I predict that the Encalve will be the top seller in 2010. That's better for us anyway. :)

Perhaps not because it is already becoming so popular so fast without even being that available. I think that many "true Americans" have been waiting for an SUV like this that is made in the USA, but feels like it is a European or Japanese luxury car. The Buick name actually has a long and rich history that may have some remember cars like the Grand National, Reatta, etc. I "never in a thousand years" thought that I would consider buying another Buick as all my recent purchases have been Volvo x 2, BMW x 2 and Honda x 2, but quite frankly I am proud to be buying this one because of all the features including being from a "green" plant that is used in its production, fantastic safety features, well designed interior and exterior as well as a relatively inexpensive price for what you are getting (i.e., compared to the foriegn makes) with a fairly decent warranty. The supply and demand issue is already having dealers getting MSRP for a GM car - wow! Who would believe that one! ;) It is sort of fun saying that you are buying a BUICK. :thumb:

I agree with you. I like that I'm buying an American car made in Detroit.

I also think it was a smart move making the Enclave so visually different than the Acadia. Because if the Acadia and Enclave looked similar (like the Acadia/Outlook) then I don't think the Enclave would have stood a chance - because it's a Buick. I guess the real question is: Will the Enclave be so appealing to consumers that people would accept the blow to their self image and buy one.

You and I did it. Foreign car sales will probably suffer more because those buyers will gravitate toward the Enclave. But I still think the SUV and minivan crowd will choose the Acadia.

Just read a very positive review on Roadandtrack.com. Probably one of the better and upbeat reviews so far. They acknowledge that the Enclave is a major first step in bringing back Buick. From what I am hearing there are going to be some really nice cars coming from Buick in the next 2to3 years. Possibly an Enclave Super with a V-8. Well i am already at 1800 miles so she is parked for a couple weeks. I really miss driving her but I want to avoid excessive miles so quickly.

YES! I tavel and I need quietness from road noise with good gas mileage. I also need the beautiful interior of wood grain and excellent stereo, with room for the family. I am an ex-SRX and RX330 owner----the RX was niceeee, but too tiny.

fenwah - I read that same prediction about the Enclave, but this enclave forum is generating WAY more interest than the Outlook. I'd be shocked if it doesn't move into second place in sales above the Saturn by the end of the year.

I'll admit, I've said all along that that Enclave was my least favorite of the Lambdas. But I saw my first real life non-brown Enclave this weekend - a Gold Mist I'm pretty sure and it was STUNNING! I was absolutely blown away by how nice it looked.

I have not seen a Gold mist yet. Really it was that good????? I thought that and White Opal would be the least wanted colors. On the same note, it looks like Platinum is among the least sold one, as I am searching dealer inventories and calling a bunch of them, almost everyone has a platinum available (some 3). While all the other colors are missing.

Does anyone know how many Buick dealerships there are vs. Saturn dealerships? I assume that Saturn has
a lot less dealerships than Buick does, but some numbers would be nice. ???

Coop - I was shocked too, but it looked absolutely fantastic!! I've only seen that and brown so far in person though.

linuxtwit - I'd like that info too, if anyone knows a website that has a semi-accurate count of dealerships by brand.
