When I picked up my car yesterday I noticed that the tire pressure varied on the 4 tires. Each was 37 or 38 PSI. While driving back home it increased to 40/41 due to heat. This morning when I checked and it was back to 37/38. Now Factory recommended is 35. I am going to have to get another gauge to verify numbers. I wonder why the dealer over inflated, or is the tire pressure gauge off. Anyone else have this issue?

I asked my sales guy when I picked it up, and he had no clue about what the recommended was, however he knew that the sticker was on the driver door. In my eagerness to get the car I did not press the issue.

Hopefully its overinflated and the sensor is correct.

"Over" inflating just a bit will improve fuel economy, but will also slightly harshen the ride and may take a few thousand off of the tires' life span.
