I have been unable to fill the tank to capacity without very slowly running the pump during the last two gallons or so. It has been this way from day one. Dealer can't find any problems and there are no error codes. I am not getting error messages on the DIC, and no check engine light. If there was a problem with the vent it shouldn't fill correctly at all. Any ideas what else could cause this?

Are you trying to fill to the top - as in see the fuel at the top of the filler neck?
Or is auto shutoff- engaging- hopping in vehicle- and needle is not on full?

I'm trying to fill it, not to the very top, but the auto shut-off stops it at about two gallons short of full. The gauge almost reaches full, but drops quickly. When full, it stays on the full mark for quite awhile. It is supposed to hold about 22 gallons, but with about 2 gallons remaining in the tank, the pump shuts off between 17-18 gallons.

I have tried removing the nozzle after the first shut-off, letting the gas settle before adding more but it will still only take it at a very slow rate.
