I would agree. Unless both hands are full, easier to hit the button release. 2020 EnclaveOver time the lens can become contaminated with dust/mud, etc. Try gently pushing a wet microfiber rag or similar through the small round hole at the bottom of the bumper cover to clean the lens and see if that improves things.
On the other hand if it's working great - other than the cosmetics - consider leaving it alone. Mine is perfectly clear but I have to swing my leg in/out under it 5-6 times for it to do anything, I stopped worrying about it.

Mine is doing that too now. I think the lens with the Buick logo has fallen off.2018 Buick Enclave Avenir Anyone had an illuminated Buick logo projection that wasn’t clear? When it is illuminated on ground at night, you can’t tell what is actually being displayed. You would never know it is the Buick logo. Maybe the lens got scratched up somehow? It seems pretty recessed in the bumper - so doesn’t seem like that would get scratched up. my thought was maybe road salt from winter is stuck on light/lens? I might try sticking a q-tip through hole to see if I can clean it up? Not a big deal, it just curious on how to fix.
