I don't know what to say...
...I've grown accustomed to just talking about getting an Enclave. Ordered loaded CXL on April 20 and just learned that the car is being shipped today. I'm at code 4000. I have the VIN number, and it's listed in the VOMS with estimated ship date of 22 Aug. I suspect I could have it in hand as early as next week. Gee, what do I have to look forward to now?

Ordered our Gold Mist CXL FWD on July 24th. Stopped in at our dealer yesterday thinking "well, we are 4 weeks into this, HOPEFULLY... ; ;D things should be happening"! They are not a high volume Buick dealer so I expected that they would have a low allocation number. (I have learned quite a bit from this forum on how the system works now)!!!! I wasn't totally supprised to find out that our order had not been processed yet hno: because they had not received any more allocations.
I advised my salesman that I was not going to go through what I had read on this forum about others experience of waiting for 12 weeks+. I wanted some answers and I had copies of the VOMS number criteria with me and LOTS of questions. If they were not going to get a new allocation fairly soon, I was going to have to cancel our order and do a vehicle search on line. Granted we would most likely not find exactly what we wantedhno: ....but.............
Well, the owner came over and met with my wife and I and our salesman. They ran an updated report from GM right in front of us, showing their allocation for the next 3 weeks. WALLAAAA....they were getting an allocation for 1 Enclave as of August 23rd. I was adivised that our order would go in on that allocation and be priority 1 because it is a pre-sold order.
Today, I was called and advised our order was accepted by GM and is in the system. SO, things are moving along. :thumb: Our salesman also advised he contacted "their" rep and he felt our order should be built within the next 4 weeks or less. :blob:
Now we just have to hope contract talks work out.....

You could have, at least, said it in a nice way, instead of bragging and making us all feel
so inadequate. Who? Me??
