Interesting Items in the owners manual

My God!
GM must have a lot of Lawers. The manual is like a 500 page book. There is like 16 pages on how to wear a seatbelt.

They deserve the captain obvious award for this one.... "REVERSE (R) Use this gear to back up".

Sorry to waist your time reading this, but it just cracks me up. ;D

Another interesting item... If you have memory seats - each key fob has a seat preference. One key fob is for driver 1 and setting "1". The other is for setting "2". Cool eh? Don't take you wifes set of keys or you'll be sitting in her spot when you unlock the car, truck, or whatever this CUV thingy is.

The one down side is that the remotes are not labeled in any way, as far as I can tell. You either need to keep them separated or somehow mark them yourself.
That is an excellent feature

Well I normally have some office drawer keys to distinguish my set 8)
That's why my keys have a red tag and my wifes have a green.

Anybody know if the motorized rear tailgate raise height can be adjusted? I would like it an inch lower. It is close to the garage door. I mean really close!

I hear you on that one. I have not investigated that yet, but we have turned ours off for now. If we pull into the garage far enough there is no issue. If we do not, we could hit the door. It is not worth the risk at this point.

There should be a number 1 and 2 on the back side of the fobs.
I checked twice and did not see any numbering. Maybe I'm blind? :tard:

HOW BOUT SOME GOOD OLD FASHIONED NAIL POLISH....
Anything like that would work, I have just been too lazy to mark them. I simply have hit the second memory button inside when I have driven it.

I don't think there's a way to customize the height of the liftgate. There's a piece of metal that sticks out near teh bottom of my garae door - this is where the liftgate hits when the door is open, so I fastened a small chunk of foam pipe insulator to it so that when it does hit, it's not doing damage ;)

For enclave owners - is there an online manual on mygmlink.com like there is for the Acadia? Please take a look and post in the technical section if you find it. Thanks!

I've talked to my sales people and we are not aware of any such feature. Would be a nice one.

I doubt it. I could not register my Enclave yet on mygmlink. It would not accept my VIN and the Enclave is not even available on the vehicle drop-down menu.
