Why would the Acadia get LED lighting and the Enclave not? LED gives the person behind a split second more warning......

Why no active headrests for improved safety?
or did I miss the fact the Enclave has these? Saab's have them......

Another safety feature which is benefiting from advances in technology is the active headrest which is now popular in cars like the KIA Rondo and the Honda Civic. What an active headrest does is protect your head in a rear end collision. Ken would rather be in a rear end collision in a 3,000 lb. car with an active headrest than a 6,000 lb. truck without one.

Meanwhile, the industry has rolled out anti-whiplash headrests that reduce neck injuries in rear-end accidents. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety says its recent studies show that active headrests in Saabs, Volvos and Buicks :sosad:cut neck injuries by almost half.

Someone in the know must be able to answer these simple questions.

I can't find any info on Active Head Restraint in Enclave's brochure. If it is not in brochure it is not in the car either! Especially since it is a safety item.

2 key safetry features that would have really stepped up the Enclave LED's=fast lighting and Active Head Rests to minimize whiplash which is a larger problem rea and head on collisions. The Hyundia Veracruz has them...

Maybe we should start a petition here to lobby GM to put LEDs on the enclave now. What is the difference in cost per vehicle for LEDs? I would pay a little more for them. If we all band together maybe we could make it happen!
