Interested in how many miles a year you put on your Enclave.

The main reason I ask is I want to see if the average Enclave driver would benefit more from a 6yr 70K mi power train warranty or a 5yr 100K mi power train warranty. Note the break even point is 14K (14K*5yrs is 70K miles if you're under it, even by a little you get extra time on a 6yr 70K mi power train warranty.)

Me personally, I may hit 7.5K mi this year because of a couple road trips, but my typical year would only be about 5K. Short commute, and it's going to get shorter w/ my work building a new office only 2.5mi from my home.

About 6,500 here. Got the Enclave July 31st of 2008 and we just rolled 29,000 miles.

The change would not affect me much at all. My Enclave hit the 5 year warranty expiration with 68,000 miles on the odometer. Under the new warranty, it would have expired about 2 months later when the car would have triggered the 70,000 mile limit instead of the old 5 year limit.

Have had my 2011 for 25 months and have just over 25K miles. I had a 2008 for 38 months and had 37K when I turned it in.

We are just over 10K per year.
This was lower but we have been putting alot more on her after I got rid of the Escalade in 2010. Not enough room for the kids and the dog in the G8 for long trips. Also even with snow tires winter driving just isn't the same as the AWD Enclave :)

While I turned in my Enclave over a year ago (I now lease an SRX), I had leased it for 48 months. I turned it in after 48 months with only 40,000 miles and in excellent condition. Whoever got that car got a real cream puff!

EDIT: Replied to wrong thread, but I'll comment on this. So far it's looking > 2/3 are better off w/ the 6yr / 70K mile so far w/ 11 to 5 < 14K miles.

Just upgraded to a 2013. Traded in my 2009 with just about 45K miles on it. I got the 2009 used and it had close to 15K miles on it. So I put 30K miles on it in 4 years.

15,000 - 20,000 miles a year from a combination of distantly scattered (yet driveable) relatives and business responsibilities. I dream of a 5000 mile year ;)
