Is a code always thrown with misfires? How does one diagnose misfires if a code is not thrown? Not to hijack the thread, but wondering on this misfire thing… could jumping/shudder actually be misfires disguised as bad trans/torque converter. I have had jumpy acceleration and shudder for a while now and wondering if it could be misfires instead… wonder what the OP’s symptoms are other than the code? (176k miles and plugs/coils never changed on my 2012. )
