Absolutely right, coop. But there lies the problem: How does my second kid plug in to the jack up front without a wire dangling up front. Can she plug in to the rear aux while someone is watching DVD?

OK, since I do not have an iPOD and will never get one in my life (won twice at different raffles but gave 'em away, i Hate them!) I used my regular Samsung MP3 player and connected with the rear AUX inputs. I played a DVD and set the wireless headphone to listen to DVD sound. The MP3 was playing through the car stereo system. It all worked. Not only that, the AUX input automatically detected the input from rear so it swtiched without my instructions.

That's great coop! That's perfect. That's exactly what I was hoping for. Now I don't need to run a cable anywhere. I only need a headphone to RCA adaptor to plug the MP3 player on the rear Aux. Great news. Thanks for doing the experiment. :cheers:
