My Enclave review

I've now posted my review of the Enclave at Epinions:

Buick Enclave review

As I've expressed in posts here, I like the styling, smoothness, room, and quietness, but feel that GM should have spent more on interior materials and priced the Enclave a bit higher (or the Acadia and Outlook a bit lower) accordingly. This vehicle would be thoroughly amazing with a grand more spent on interior materials.

They need to get away from having multiple brands at the same price point when similarly equipped.

:angryfire: Another American Hater....when are we going to remember we are Americans and realize we can build cars to compete with any one? when people and other car makers only have the inside to talk about then they are worried !!!!!

I've owned x-5, Acura for about a month (yuuuk) and Ill tell you guys all car makers buy the same products from only a few manufacturers!!!
Yes, I'm worried...that GM still doesn't quite get it. The Enclave is two yards from the goal line. I want them to get the ball across rather than decide that getting within two yards of a touchdown is good enough. The 2008 CTS goes the whole way. I feel the Enclave should have as well.

Seems odd that you could have owned an "x-5" and still not know it's "X5." And if you're so fanatical about American cars, what were you doing with a German SUV and a Japanese SUV?

robnsd - have you read mkaresh's other reviews? He clearly gave overall higher marks to the American made Outlook than he did the Japanese CX-9. Calling him an 'American Hater' just because he had some (valid) negative points to make in an overall very good review makes no sense.

I would have classified myself not as an American "hater" but probably an American "avoider" prior to these Lambdas coming out. There just wasn't much out there that American car companies were producing that was enticing to me. It wasn't really even about reliability (the big black eye on most american cars of a decade ago) as much as just producing something that could truly rival the looks, fun and function of my G35 coupe, for example. But these new Lambdas are true competitors in their segment. And to me, they are THE vehicles to beat when you need a 7/8 passenger family hauler.

Great review.  I don't think it's helpful for anyone to read something that is all positive (or all negative for that matter).  Honest, thorough impressions are better for everyone.  Thank you for taking the time to write something on epinions and for sharing a link with us.  :thumb:
The site's called epinions for a reason. Everyone has one. I encourage others to post their own reviews there. Feel free to refer people to this forum for additional information.
