Hi all, first time poster here!

I ordered my Buick Enclave on 2-2-2008.

While looking over my New Vehicle Summary paperwork, I notice that the "Order Type" is: TRE-Retail Stock.

What does "TRE-Retail Stock" indicate? And SHOULD I BE CONCERNED?

Thanks,
bonk!

Well, looking around, I found this explanation:

The "Order Type" field is just that, the type of order that it is. Depending on where you look, it can be code or words. Your example uses both.

"TRE" is used for retail orders for dealership stock. This means the order is retail, not for fleet or for stock not a sold customer.

Retail Stock (TRE) and Retail Sold (SRE) are the two most common "Order Types"

My guess would be that it is a way the dealer is balancing his unit allocation to have yours get built. Just a guess. Ask the dealer to explain - let's him know you pay attention to stuff! ;D

Also, peruse the E forum link here for some background...
