I recently put a newer used motor in my 2009 enclave and got it all wired up and now I have no crank. Put a new battery in it, all dash lights come on except the check engine (not sure if this is a clue or not). Jumped the starter relay and starter works and turns the motor. I hooked up my obd2 reader and it doesn’t seem to connect or recognize the car. Is it possible the ecm quit working? Any ideas appreciated. Thanks

Not getting OBD2 response is a big problem for sure. I'd start probing the fuse box and see if you've got some critical circuits not getting power, as well as checking voltage at the ECU. I'm wondering if you missed/broke a major ground while doing the swap. I'd troubleshoot getting OBD2 returning responses and once you get that going I'll bet it will crank.
