No GM Card Dollars for my Enclave

2511 Views 8 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  Big Larry
I forgot to mention -- when I bought my Enclave in May, I was told by the dealer that I could not use my GM mastercard dollars towards this car because it was a special promotion and GM would not accept those credits. Nor did I qualify for the $1000 rebate because I live in New York and that credit was only for Midwestern buyers. I'm not kicking, because I did get almost $6,000 off the sticker price. But has anyone else had the issue with the GM card credits?

Nope. I used my GM card earnings, a whopping $300, on my Enclave.
I called GM card and they told me I could use all $1,600. :thumb:
Well, there's no sense in my complaining at this point. I wound up using my GM card credits to buy a Chevy Colorado pickup for my oldest boy.

What's the story with $6K off? Just curious what your buying experience was to get that much discount.

Used my GM points for my Enclave......$3500... The Dealer could care less about your GM points as it doesn't come out of their pockets...
depends on your type of GM card. YES there are different ones. I think GM just hates East and West coasters ;D
I thought the only differences between the cards was the limits that were applied to vehicles. I know there is a new card, old card, special employee/supplier card, etc. I have never heard of card earnings being flat out disallowed on any GM vehicle.

I bought my car on Ebay. The "buy it now" price was $37,982.78. Sticker was $43k and change. The ebay listing said the price included rebates and incentives. There was no bargaining involved. Oh, and I got a free Enclave baseball cap.
