From what I read, there is one year of On Star and 3 months of XM Radio.
For new owners (and those who just know this answer), do you have to call to activate these services?
What was the process of activating? Thanks!

Everything should be activated upon delivery. Your XM could go longer than 3 months. My last two vehicles that had XM free for "3 months" went about 5 before they turned it off. You will know because you will start to lose xm stations. Just give them a call and give them your billing info. along with your radio code...stations will be back in 15 min. If you call before your stations go out, you will never lose service.

I would call to re-up your onstar right at 12 months and not let it go out if you want to keep it.

Either way...they both should be activated by the dealer before you drive off the lot.

XM radio is now for 12 months on all Enclaves. The dealer already had the XM radio activated when we picked it up. The salesman was showing us how all the options worked, and dialed Onstar. At that point we gave the Onstar Rep the required info and password and it was then setup for use.

Since when? My Enclave is 90 days XM, 1 year On Star. My XM is due to expire on Tuesday.

Same here, 90 days for XM, 12 months of On Star.

I am still debating about renewing XM, Instant Traffic & weather is the only channel that interests me here.

Thank you all for that info.
We already have XM on another vehicle. We absolutely love it.
Thanks again!
