I ORDERED A FWD CXL IN COCOA W/ CASHMERE. THE OPTIONS I ADDED WAS THE SUNROOF, 19" WHEELS, LUXURY PACKAGE, DRIVER CON. PACKAGE, ENT. PACKAGE #2, CARGO SHADE AND NET. CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHO HAS ORDERED THEIRS WITH THE LUXURY PACKAGE HOW LONG IT TOOK TO ARRIVE.
I ALSO READ ON HERE QUESTIONS ABOUT WHO QUALIFIES FOR THE CHROME PACKAGE. I FOUND OUT ANYONE CAN GET IT OUTSIDE OF THOSE THREE STATES. THERE IS A RESIDENCY RESTRICTION OVERRIDE THE DEALER CAN CHOOSE. YOU WILL ONLY GET THE DISCOUNT IF YOU MENTION IT, THEY WILL NOT JUST ADD IT IN IF YOU DO NOT KNOW ABOUT IT.
AS FOR PRICE I WENT THROUGH THE COSTCO AUTO PROGRAM AND IT WAS GREAT. MY FINAL PRICE WAS $36,578 AND I WAS OUT OF THERE IN 30 MINUTES. MSRP WAS JUST OVER $40,000. THE DEALER ALSO ADVISED ME THAT IF THE CONQUEST REBATE IS STILL AVAILABLE AT THE TIME OD DELIVERY I WILL GET THAT TO. DO YOUR RESEARCH AND GO IN PREPARED AND YOU CAN GET A GOOD DEAL.
Ok, I'm clueless on the Costco Auto Program. Do you only have to be a member of Costco to qualify, or are there other restrictions along with being a member? Who do you talk to about using the Costco Auto Program, the dealer or Costco? We have a Costco nearby, but I've never been. Any help in the right direction would be appreciated. I've noticed that those who order through the Costco Auto Program are getting a great price.
You have to be a memeber of Costco. There are no restrictions. Just go there website, click services at the top, choose auto buying. From there you will choos contact dealer and once you input some info it will get you in contact with a local dealer that costco has teamed up with.
I ordered my AWD CXL in White Diamond w/Titanium and all the same options except cargo shade and net (never used them on the Denali) on July 13th. It will be interesting to track your order as so similar to mine and both having the luxury package that is on constraint. I also took advantage of the chrome package with the $1000 discount. Sure made those 19" wheels attractively priced. However Buick has 2-3 other wheel options that look nice and would be somewhat "custom" since I expect so many Enclaves will have those 19's. Good luck with your order.
Can someone that's ordered their Enclave with the Chrome Package ($2,195 less $1,000 Chrome Package Discount) -- that doesn't live in TL, TX or CA -- (and I see that's several folks that have written in this forum) tell me how this was written up on their dealer order?
Having given up on any other vehicle and also given up trying to find an Enclave in stock for less than Sticker -- I went in to order ours today. I had found a car in Michigan that had the Chrome Package and printed the sticker out and took it with me just in case. The owner looked in the GM order system. He found the Chrome Package price ($2195) but did not see any corresponding discount option code for $1,000, as I showed him on the sticker I printed. The vehicle sticker was for an Enclave delivered to a dealer outside Detroit -- so it should not have "qualified" for the Chrome Package and related discount. However, many of you have said you ordered using this.
It is a big $$$ saver -- Sunroof is $1,300, Chrome Wheels are $1,495 less $600 discount -- the net is $2,195 -- $1,000 more than Chrome Package w/Package discount. How is this being coded?
My owner was trying to reach the Buick marketing manager to ask how to order it with this. I suspect I won't get my order in now until tomorrow at the earliest because he doesn't want to order until then.
One other good story came up while there -- was told a dealer bought an in-stock Enclave from another dealer @ $500 over MSRP to sell to a customer for even more over MSRP!!!! Now I've heard just about everything.
syazd,
Thanks for your reply -- is R7C the code for just the discount? Or is that the code for the Chrome Package w/Discount -- my dealer found PCX and said that was the code for that package, but didn't see the discount anywhere.
This is a big help -- waiting for him to call me back so I can get on the waiting list with most of the rest of this forum!
syazd -- I'd be curious if you're located in one the places that is "OK'd" for the Chrome package. I found that elsewhere on this site (attached again so someone doesn't have to search for it) and where I live is not listed on here.
I went in to my dealer today -- he heard back from the Buick Marketing manager and was told essentially what this document said -- he can order it with that package, override the code, but if the vehicle is delivered to someone (like me) not in one of the OK areas, the dealer (and presumably the customer) will be charged back the $1,000 discount.
I ended up ordering the following:
Enclave CXL FWD, Platinum/Ebony w/Entertainment#4, Towing Package, Lux Package, Driver Conf Package and Chrome Wheels -- if I could have gotten the sunroofs for "free" I would have, but decided not to spend the add'l $1,300 MSRP, nor did I order the cargo net/cover, didn't think it was worth the $90. Sticker for $42,075, Supplier @ $39,237 (that's what it costs out at now, it will end up being when the order is picked up for build).
Also -- the dealer told me GM has changed the allocation method -- ALL orders go against Dealer Allocation, whether sold to a customer. It still goes in the system as a P1 Priority, but I guess this is a way of limiting orders and you have to rely on the honesty of the dealer as to how many orders they have against their allocation. I was told mine was 1 of the 1st 3 to go in for August, don't know if that's true or not, but my dealer did show me the GM order system screen -- he actually checked on another customer's Acadia order to show me how he will do this when I call him.
Finally, the dealer is estimating a delivery of up to 4 months! That's 16 weeks folks -- I'm preparing myself for a November delivery, hoping it at least arrives before the snow flies here.

I live in Oregon so as for the discount I guess we will se when it arrives. My dealer and I have agreed on a price and signed on it so I will hold him to it. He also advised me of the allocaiton and said it could take up to three months. Now we wait and see.
