Hi, so my check engine light is coming on intermittently. I put my OBDII reader on and the two faults came up. While I understand that this can be a timing belt problem, I am hoping that there is a bit of diagnostics I can do myself.
2012 Buick Enclave has about 135,000 miles on it.
Any words of advice on this?

How is the oil level? Low oil level can affect the timing. How often have you changed the oil and do you use dino or synthetic? If you used dino and waited longer than 5,000 mile between changes there may be some sludge buildup inside.
You can try a high mileage synthetic oil and see if it helps.

I use high mileage synthetic at the moment. And to be honest, I haven't been really that consistent about changing oil every 3000 miles. Maybe that's my problem. Is it possible that both sensors could have gone bad? Probably not, I suppose...
