Hey guys! First time poster.
I'll get right to the point.
My wife drives a 2015 Buick Enclave Convenience FWD, ~96,000 miles.
Have had it since Late Feb/Early March with Zero issues to speak off. We got it with around 83,000 so we've put ~13,000 miles on it in the last 5 months. We drive ALOT, 90% highway though.
Okay so July 16 I changed the oil myself. It was super simple, took me about a half hour, and went off without an issue. Wife said the car felt much smoother to drive. The oil that came out was definitely at the end of its life.
Cut to yesterday 7/27. Enclave has been running great since the oil change. Suddenly we are driving into the city and the Tranny starts delay shifting from 3rd to 4th and 4th to 5th? Mid highway gears. Not enough delay to cause real concern, but enough that my wife said something and I noticed when paying attention.
We stopped at the burger King in the city and I'm like this car has 93k miles it probably definitely needs a tranny flush if not a new filter. So I checked dck the Tranny fluid level.
Fluid is probably past its prime. No pink/red anywhere. It's got that brown motor oil color to it. Screw the cap back on planning to do some research later.
We get on the highway to go home and lo and behold, the check engine light comes on.

Knock Sensor Circuit Low
Crap. What does that mean. I've personally never encountered this particular code before so I'm scared half to death.
I'm not sure where the knock sensor(s) are located. Is it possible I spilled oil in the wiring harness for it when i unscrewed the oil filter. I didn't have much drippage, I was super careful but some definitely dripped down from the filter location to the ground. Maybe I got the wires covered in oil and destroyed the sensor or harness? Idk.
This is our family of 6s only vehicle. I do as many repairs myself as possible. I have basics tools and I can follow instructions and YouTube videos.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I had great luck in the dodge forums with my Caravan. The community was more than helpful as I'm sure this Enclave community will be just as useful and informative.
Thanks all!
